Eccentric rapper/singer/producer Bookie The Baby has signed a record deal with Capitol Christian Records in a merger with Seventh Day Slumber’s Nashville Music Group, which has decided to try its hand promoting CHH.

“We wanted an artist with a new, young sound on the roster,” said lead singer Joseph Rojas, creator of the CCR Imprint “True Breed”.

With the success of Christian crossover acts such as NF and Social Club, signing a new, unorthodox, faith-focused artist like Bookie The Baby is not surprising.

Bookie is currently on a 25-city tour and will be performing at SXSW showcase with Derek Minor and Propaganda.

The Sacramento, California native’s debut mixtape, “0 Period” drops on Valentine’s Day, 2019.  Bookie explains, “Based on a true story, I found my true love through the worst heartbreak and depression.”

His first album through Capitol Christian Records is slated to drop this summer.
